N'soroma James is a Board of Behavioral Health of California licensed clinical social worker. With over 15 years of clinical experience servicing children, women, and men from various backgrounds and challenges in their life, such as anxiety, depression, bipolarism, relationship issues, self-image, esteem, substance use, and sexual trauma.  N'soroma provides cultural awareness, inner vision, and brings sensitivity to her practice, meeting clients where they are; providing client centered psychodynamic cognitive behavior therapy, feminist therapy, family therapy, and other modalities. N'soroma meets the clients where they are, and offers the client a window to look generationally into their past to sort through the present and design and envision the future, as well as offering solution focused therapy and dream analysis.

Additionally, N'soroma examines the African diasporic experience in America, analyzing the social and cultural factors that have engendered traumas rooted in racism, sexual violence, posttraumatic stressors, and violence. This unique specialization affords clients of African / African-American heritage appreciated insight in relation to psychopathology and the Black experience.

 

N'soroma embodies cultural humility, and is proud to serve diverse clients. Under the therapeutic guidance of N'soroma, clients are empowered to create and embrace their own inner light.
